Publisher's description of E-mail Tracking Blocker
From Wizard Industries:A number of new services have emerged that offer tracking of e-mails sent by their users. These services include http://www.didtheyreadit.com, http://www.msgtag.com, and http://www.readnotify.com among others. These services invade your privacy to report if, when, how, and for how long you have read the e-mail their user sent you. There is no reason for anyone to secretly track e-mails behind your back. Our E-mail-Tracking Blocker will block all of these services - to those services it will always appear, as the e-mail has never been opened.

Version: E-mail Tracking Blocker 2.0.1
Pros: This software leads you to believe a lot more is being tracked than can actually happen... in the same vain a cookies being dangerous for your computer. This simply isn't true. Have you ever sent an email and wondered if it was received and/or read? Outlook allows you to do this. Third-party software lets you do it too... only better.
Cons: eMail Tracking Blocker is a waste of time and feeds the myth that you're not safe online. The email tracking software it's purporting to protect you from has a lot of usefullness and only lets you know that an email has been "read"... of course you can't know if the entire email is read. For business, this is a must. How many times have you heard "I never received the email"? Now you can say "yes you did on XXXX date/time". Avoid Email Tracker Blocker and use the software it purports to defend you against.

Version: E-mail Tracking Blocker 2.0.1
Pros: seems like the previous reviewer works for didtheyreadit.com, which by the way, doesnt work whatsoever, there is no support and i'd rather stick needles in my eyes than ever pay for their product again.
that being said, if you want to be spied on all day, i'd highly recommend you NOT getting this app.
Cons: none
