Publisher's description of F.E.A.R. single-player demo
From VU Games:Note: F.E.A.R. has been rated M (Mature) by the ESRB for blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language.
You aren't a soldier. You are a weapon.
F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is an intense combat experience with rich atmosphere and a deeply intense paranormal storyline presented entirely in first person. Be the hero in your own spine-tingling epic of action, tension, and terror... and discover the true meaning of fear.
This single-player demo for the action-horror FPS features an introductory cutscene and a portion of the mission from the full game where you must find and neutralize Paxon Fettel.

Version: F.E.A.R. single-player demo
"HHMMMM . . . .human flesh . . . .with some curry . . . ."
Pros: Great graphics, great textures, great music. Little girl running in the deep shadows and giggling is cute, NOT scary, but good atmosphere. Great action once bullets start flying. Leaping enemies, first i've seen that.
Cons: Laggy even with powerful PC. Noisy objects around you for no reason? Very long download for one short mission, but worth playing. As of October 29, 2006, F.E.A.R. is at Walmart for $30. I suggest just buy it. Multiplayer online must be great.

Version: F.E.A.R. single-player demo
"Amazing graphics, playability, everything is amazing!"
Pros: This is easily one of the best shooter games that were made ever!
Specially made for people that enjoy scarry movies and shooters.
I'm a 28 year old player(MAN) and still got scared by that little girl =) =)
Any way. Very original! beautyfull graphics! This game, with Call of Duty 2 and Counterstrike are definitely the best shooters of 2006.
Cons: Hard mode is not so hard and .... the biggest cons of all interesting games! They are too short!!!! hahaha... Bring the 2nd and 3rd version quick!

Version: F.E.A.R. single-player demo
Pros: Everything is good, especially the very polished gameplay.
Cons: The demo is ridiculously short for such a long download. It gives you 15-20 minutes of gameplay at most. A demo should give at least twice that.
