Version: F-Secure Anti-Virus 2006 6.12
"Still using it, so it can't be that bad."
Pros: Doen't use many resources even with the full suite. Scans medium fast with multi. scanning options. Supports real-time. Seems pretty solid and through.
Cons: It does have compatiablity issues with some other security software like adaware, but usually this type of program does.

"Rated highly everywhere...use it and see why!"
Pros: I read all the reviews, and this always came out really highly, it isn't a resource hog, it works and has anti virus and spy protection in one package. I downloaded from microsoft site as get 6 month trial for free! Was using avg and adaware on instal it tells you to uninstal adaware as it conflicts, been on my system for a couple of weeks and cannot fault it. Excellent product, will renew!
Cons: It is slightly more expensive initially than Kaspersky, but renewal costs the same...

Pros: This is a good product that works to keep your PC free from all unwanted pests. It is far superior to Norton or McAfee, and is in the class of Kaspersky without slowing down your machine. You dont know its there, until it does its job.
I tried the 6 months free from Microsoft offer, and then was invited to upgrade to the Complete Internet Suite with 50% off the price!
Great value for money.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Couldn't get it on two computers this software has issues reminds me of Black ice,waste of time then it writes on your hard drive so you can't delete all of it harmfull to my PC.

"Froze my Windows XP Pro SP2 on logon!"
Pros: 6 Months Trial (but see CONS)
Cons: 1. After installing F-Secure my Travelmate 8000 wasn't able to start Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2 any more; it always froze on logon. I needed to uninstall it in secured mode. The same happened again after I gave it a second try.
2. Dowdy design (at least the installer - the program didn't even start up in secured mode so I can't tell how it looks)
